Take That star Gary Barlow has spoken about the possibility of there being a big screen adaptation of the boybands rise to fame. Gary claims that many people find the Take That story hard to believe but he has come up with some casting ideas for if the Take That movie does ever get made.

Barlow told The Sun, “It is one of those stories, ours, where if you wrote it down and gave it to someone they'd go, 'Well it's a good story but it wouldn't come true'. It feels like 20 years of madness, but it is a good story. We've been offered musicals and talked about them for years now but never a film. No-one's ever approached us about it, never.”
He added, “I'd definitely have James Cordon play me - he's such a great bloke, I love him. Howard Donald always thinks he looks like Willem Dafoe, so that would be a good one. Jason Orange is a bit Brad Pitt. Who'd play Mark? It'd be Ant or Dec, or you could even do both. And probably someone like Matt Damon should take on the role of Robbie Williams.”

Gary Barlow recently confirmed that he and the rest of Take That will be working on a new album in the New Year, with a view to taking the album on tour in 2014. This has led to many suggesting that this season of The X Factor could be his last.
