There has been a lot of talk doing the rounds in the past few days, weeks and months, about the use of promotional women at sports events and whether it is still right for them to be used they way they are in this day and age. This has led to the walk on girls being scrapped from the Professional Darts Corporation, as well as the Grid Girls being scrapped from Formula 1, but will it end there?
Following these two sports getting rid of these women, there have been suggestions that we could next see the likes of boxing and UFC getting rid of the Ring Girls, which a lot of people are clearly worried about. While these sports seem to think they are doing the right thing, it seems that they are not taking the lives of these women into account, with them losing a lot of money and financial support now that they are out of a job.
When it comes to the Ring Girls, there is nobody bigger or better than the beautiful American star Arianny Celeste, who has already made a fortune in her career, not only from being a Ring Girl but from getting other jobs and opportunities that have been made available to her since. If Arianny Celeste was to lose her gig as a Ring Girl she could be one of the biggest losers, potentially losing millions of dollars.
With that said, Arianny Celeste does seem to have worked up a big enough portfolio and have enough big contacts for her to succeed without being a Ring Girl, since the UFC is not her main source of income. So it is more likely going to be some of the lesser known names who will be hit the hardest if, no when boxing and UFC does away with the Ring Girls.
