There have been a lot of successful families in the entertainment industry over the years and one of the biggest family names in Hollywood at the moment would have to be the Skarsgard family, which has given us some great actors. One of the biggest and best members of the Skarsgard family, would have to be the very impressive actor Alexander Skarsgard, who has enjoyed a very impressive career in Hollywood.
Alexander Skarsgard is a talented actor
Alexander Skarsgard started out his acting career in Sweden, appearing in plenty of Swedish projects along the way, before deciding to head over to Los Angeles in 2004. It was in the role of Sergeant Brad "Iceman" Colbert in the hit mini-series Generation Kill that Alexander got his big break, before going on to become a household name in the HBO series True Blood, where he played the role of Eric Northman.
His performances in True Blood brought Alexander Skarsgard a huge fanbase, which has led to the actor becoming a huge Hollywood star and a leading man on the big screen. Alexander has a number of movie projects lined up for the coming years but, out of all of them, the one that we are most looking forward to seeing is the live-action Tarzan movie.

Alexander Skarsgard will play the lead role of Tarzan in the upcoming live action Tarzan film, which will also see Australian actress Margot Robbie playing the role of Jane. Tarzan is set to be directed by David Yates and is scheduled to hit the big screen on July 1, 2016 in the US. We cannot wait!
