When it was announced that Supergirl was going to air on CBS, we were all unsure of whether it would be possible to see the character crossing over with any of the other DC projects on other networks. Fortunately, during Supergirl season one, we did get to see an episode with a cameo appearance from The Flash, which led to talk of future crossovers with other characters.
Well, now that Supergirl has moved over to The CW for season two, it makes things a lot easier to get these crossovers happening, with many people calling for an Arrow and Supergirl crossover. Now, actor Stephen Amell, who plays the role of Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow in Arrow, has opened up about the possibility of seeing that crossover happen in the near future.
During a recent interview, Amell explained, "Do bears you-know-what in the woods? I think that it’s highly likely that if you have four DC superhero properties on one network, that is an opportunity that may not exist again and certainly hasn’t ever existed in the history of television. I would expect that we would do something."
We have seen many crossover episodes between Arrow and The Flash, while we have also seen Stephen Amell popping up in an episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, so we cannot wait to see a new crossover with Arrow and Supergirl. Even better than that would be one big team up episode which would see a crossover between all four of them, but maybe that is just wishful thinking?
