Despite the fact that the One Direction boys have decided to take a bit of a break from the boyband thing for a while, they are still considered the biggest boyband on the face of the planet and people are still obsessed with what these young men are up to. Unfortunately for music mogul Simon Cowell, it seems that what these boys are up to is not going to be to his liking.
It was not too long ago that it was announced that Liam Payne had decided to sign a solo deal with rival record label Capitol UK, which Simon Cowell was obviously not too pleased about. Now it has been claimed that Niall Horan has also decided to have a go at a solo career, signing with another rival record label, this time Universal, which will annoy Simon even more.
A supposed insider was chatting to the British newspaper The Sun, when they said, "Simon has made no secret of his expectations for Niall to stay loyal to him and has been desperately trying to keep him as a solo act with plans to turn him into a Justin Bieber style artist. They've worked together closely since day one and have always had a strong relationship, but Universal offered a lot of money. Simon's likely to be so frustrated Niall has gone to a rival."
Seeing two of the young men that he made into global superstars deciding to turn their back on him, Simon Cowell must be furious and wondering exactly what this will mean for the future of his relationship with One Direction, when the time comes for them to get back together. Exciting times!
