The Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has already won over many fans with his take on Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, with millions of them all over the world wanting to see the character getting his own solo movie, which seems very unlikely to happen any time soon. Anyway, we do get to enjoy some more of Mark as The Hulk in the new movie Thor: Ragnarok, but the actor has admitted that their approach to shooting the project did have him worried that it might ruin the Marvel way.
Ruffalo admitted, "You know how many times I was like, are we breaking the Marvel universe? We threw everything out!
''We started all over again with this. We threw the 'Thor' franchise out. We threw everyone's perception of Banner out. We threw everyone's perception of Hulk out. We threw everyone's perception of Thor out. We knew what we were doing and at the same time were like, 'let's just do it. And let's go for it."
He added, "And let's do it in the best and the most honest and fun way that we possibly can. And Taika did that, and he wasn't afraid of that. To have that rebel mentality going into it ... We improvised a lot. We played. He created a space where we could just play. And we were making jokes, and he would throw a joke in, and then that would turn into another joke ... That playfulness is really appealing on the screen."
Those of you who have already been lucky enough to see Thor: Ragnarok will admit that whatever it was that they did on the set of the movie, it worked, as it is a fantastic film and gives us a great new look at these familiar characters. If you have not yet been lucky enough to see Thor: Ragnarok, then we suggest you stop what you are doing and book your tickets to go and see it, as it is a brilliant movie all round.
