John Stamos recently dispelled the myth that his looks are 'perfect' when he appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live's "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets". On the show the celebrities read out the mean Tweets received on the Internet and he read out one from a Tweeter who claimed that he is the owner of a "gross" belly button.
After he reads it he immediately shows a look of disagreement but then he opens his button-down shirt which shows off his rock hard, toned stomach and after looking at his belly button turns to the camera and agrees with the Tweeter.
His response is another reason why it is almost impossible to hate John Stamos. He never seems to let the haters win and this was just another example. Some would take offence or try to convince the 'haters' that maybe they were wrong but his 'handling' of the criticism is similar to how a duck deals with water on its back, he just lets it slide off.
The actor will likely have to employ this 'toughness' and personality towards the news announcement that his new show, "Members Only" has been canceled by ABC before the premiere.
The show was going to revolve around the "goings-on" in a tony Connecticut country club in which he would play the billionaire husband of Natalie Zea but for some reason not yet disclosed ABC will not be airing the show.
However if his recent actions are any indication it is obvious that he is not letting it impact him. He helped turn on the Xmas lights of Graceland and will be appearing in the upcoming musical comedy series "Galavant" and has completed pilots for two new TV shows.
John Stamos is an example of how to deal with criticism and adversity: let it roll off your back and keep moving forward to the next project.
