It really is beginning to feel like comic book adaptations are taking over the world, with a huge amount of movies and television shows coming our way over the course of the next few years. While most of the talk has been about the comic book movies that are coming our way, there are also a lot of comic book TV shows to get excited about, with both DC and Marvel characters coming to the small screen.
One of the shows that we are actually looking forward to seeing, is the new CBS show Supergirl, which is just a few weeks away from making its debut on the small screen. We already know which stars are going to play most of the characters in Supergirl and we recently discovered that the character Lucy Lane is going to have a recurring role in the show.
It has now been reported that Witches of East End actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum has been cast in the role of Lucy Lane in Supergirl, with the character first set to appear in episode 3. Lucy Lane has been described as, "as brash, funny and beautiful as her older sister Lois Lane. Lucy is strong, smart and successful in her own right. She's got a history with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and she's come to town to right a previous wrong."
It looks like we are getting a lot of Superman side characters in Supergirl, which seems to have caught the interest of a lot of fans, who are eager to see more of these characters. We look forward to seeing what the Supergirl television series has to offer and hope we get plenty of Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane.
