There has been a lot of talk about the future of the James Bond franchise, with many people suggesting that this will be the last time that we get to see the actor Daniel Craig taking on the role of 007, in the new movie Spectre. Many have claimed that, once Daniel Craig does officially call time on his role as James Bond, that Idris Elba will then take over, although there are plenty more stars capable of taking on the role of 007.
One such actor, who is clearly more than capable of pulling off the role of James Bond, is the hugely talented British star Henry Cavill, who has become one of the biggest and best actors in Hollywood. Henry stars in the new movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which shows his ability to play a spy and, just by looking at the trailer, he certainly looks like he does a good job.
Unfortunately though, it does seem highly unlikely that we will get to see Henry Cavill taking on the role of James Bond any time in the near future, as he is a very in demand actor and already has a huge role on his hands. Henry stars as Clark Kent aka Superman in the DCEU, which is set to take up a lot of his time over the next few years, leaving very little time for him to take on another huge role.
With all that said, we have thoroughly enjoyed watching Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond over the past few years and would be more than happy for him to carry on beyond the new movie Spectre. If Daniel does decide to quit as James Bond, it will definitely be interesting to see who does take over the role, with Idris Elba being the huge favourite.
Who would you like to see playing James Bond after Daniel Craig?
