Following the huge success of the bit British comedy series The Inbetweeners, there were a lot of calls for The Inbetweeners movie to get made, once the show came to an end. That movie was then released in 2011, going on to gross $82m worldwide, from a $3.5m budget. This led to calls for The Inbetweeners sequel to get made, with The Inbetweeners 2 set to hit the big screen later in the year.
While there has been a lot of talk about the stars who will appear in The Inbetweeners 2, there are some stars who appeared in the series who were not in The Inbetweeners movie and will also not appear in the sequel. One such actress is Hannah Tointon, who played the role of Tara in The Inbetweeners, appearing in three episodes of the show along the way.
Since her time on The Inbetweeners came to an end, Hannah Tointon has gone on to enjoy a successful career on both the big screen and the small screen. Hannah has had guest appearances on television shows such as Midsomer Murders, Call the Midwife, and Death in Paradise. Meanwhile, she has also been in movies like Walking with the Enemy, and Young, High and Dead.
Hannah Tointon's career is still going strong, as she plays the role of Maud Gunneson in the hit Showtime series Penny Dreadful. She will also appear in the movie The Great Englishman, which is in post-production and is expected to open sometime later in the year.
While Hannah Tointon is not considered one of the big stars of The Inbetweeners franchise, she is certainly a talented actress with a bright and promising future.
