While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is dominating on the comic book movie scene, the guys at Warner Bros. and DC are doing all they can to try to get themselves up to the high standard that has been set. Unfortunately for everybody involved, their big movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice failed to live up to that standard, which has left fans wondering what is going to happen with the future of the DC universe.
One of the best parts of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie was the appearance of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, despite the fact she only had a limited amount of screen time. The positive response to Wonder Woman has given everyone a bit of hope that the Wonder Woman standalone movie could finally bring DC up to scratch and get them moving in the right direction.
Actress Gal Gadot and everyone else involved in the new Wonder Woman film has been shooting the project for the past few months now, and we have been given the occasional teaser about the movie. Now, Gal has revealed that they have now wrapped production on Wonder Woman, bringing us ever closer to getting our first real footage of the film.
Gadot took to her official Instagram account to say "Today was my last day shooting the solo @wonderwomanfilm! It's been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director. ❤️🎬".
Wonder Woman is set to hit the big screen on June 2, 2017.
