Actor and singer Thomas Ian Nicholas who is best-known for portraying the role of Kevin Myers in the "American Pie" films—hasn't had any trouble obtaining acting roles, but he hasn't managed attaining what he has long-dreamed of—a recording deal. He has come to a point in life where he has given up in pursuing this goal.
For the past 6 years, the brown-eyed devoted musician has toured throughout the United States—and has performed, with success, in over 400 shows; he has sent demos to countless of record labels, but they don't seem to want to him the time of day. Mr. Nicholas has stated that music is his first passion; he likes to spend a lot of his time sitting down—writing songs.
This year, Thomas said that he doesn’t care anymore if he gets a recording deal or not. Now, he is performing for fun and not to be signed. His mother’s support has helped see life from a different point-of-view. As long as he adds passion and heart in everything he sings, that's good enough for him.
Currently, Ian is still singing and playing his guitar in various places across the states. And every year, he participates in a fundraising event that is held in the state of Ohio, which focuses in raising money for children in hospitals.
