While there are millions of people all over the world who would love to become rich and famous, there are plenty of downsides that they do not even consider, which really does get to some stars. One of the biggest problems that these stars face is the abuse they have to face online.
One such star, who has faced quite a lot of online abuse over the years, is the music superstar Ellie Goulding, who likes to try to keep her fans and followers inspired by her pictures and videos. Ellie loves to work out and share her progress online, with some of the trolls taking a pop at her, which has led the star to hit back.
Goulding told Flare magazine, "I work out a lot; I’m proud of my body. I put up a picture of myself, and people are like, 'Put it away; you’re supposed to be a good influence on young people!' Young women should have the freedom to post a picture with no make-up and wearing a track suit or in full make-up and a tight dress."
She then went on to add, "I work hard, but I don’t have the perfect body. When I put up a fitness video, I’m encouraging other women to be physically strong. So when I post stuff, it’s for a good reason. I don’t expect people to say, 'Nice a**'."
Ellie Goulding is not the only celebrity to get attacked by the online trolls, and she has also spoken out in support of Kim Kardashian, insisting that the reality television star has the right to share pictures of her body if she so chooses. We would rather she didn't, though.
