By now, we are sure that you are all aware that Mark Ruffalo is going to reprise his role as Bruce Banner aka Incredible Hulk for the new Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok in 2017. Well, Chris Hemsworth will once again be back in his role as Thor and the actor has admitted that he expects to see the two characters going head to head again, although he hopes that he comes off better this time around.
Hemsworth explained, "I'd like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called Thor, I have to win this time. I hope it's a Butch Cassidy (and the Sundance Kid) sort of story. That would be fun. I love Mark. I think those two characters haven't spent a whole lot of time talking to each other on screen (so far in the Marvel movies) , so it's something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It's hard to have a conversation with the Hulk."
Meanwhile, there has been plenty of talk about the Marvel movie contracts, with a number of the stars bringing theirs to an end with Avengers: Infinity War, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Whether or not Chris will renew his contract remains to be seen, with Hemsworth adding, "Contractually that will finish me up, I have to see how I feel at the end of them, it's still a while away. Ask me in three films time." We are sure plenty of people will.
Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit the big screen on October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US.
