Christmas is just a week away now and, as with every year, we all decide to let ourselves go a little bit, piling on the festive pounds that will need to come off in the New Year. Here we give you three diets that are used by some top celebrities, which will help you lose weight.
Megan Fox loves the Paleo diet
 
First up is the Paleo Diet, which is enjoyed by stars such as Megan Fox and Gary Barlow, which focusses on the likes of meat, fish and eggs, as well as fresh fruit and vegetable. However, the Paleo Diet also means going without the likes of cereal grains, dairy products, processed foods, beans and potatoes.
 
Next is the 5:2 Diet, which has been adopted by the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Beyonce, and lets the user eat normally for five days, before then fasting for two days. This requires you to eat a quarter of your regular calorie intake on those two days, with plenty of medical research done on the diet.

Finally the Clean and Lean Diet, which is loved by Holly Valance and Hugh Grant and is probably the hardest to describe. This diet, like many others, requires you to stick to three meals a day but also needs to eat the likes of "protein in the form of lean meat or fish, fat in the form of avocado, nuts, seeds, and olive or coconut oil, plus vegetables."
