There have been so many occasions over the years, when we have seen a hit television series coming to an end, with the fans soon calling for a movie to get made to satisfy their cravings for their favourite show. However, those which have given in and actually gone on to make a movie have fallen way short of what the fans were expecting and what made the show so great, which makes you wonder why so many keep trying it.
Which brings us to the hit television series Ugly Betty, which came to an end way back in 2010 but still has a lot of people calling for the show to get a big screen adaptation. Well, it seems that it is not just the fans who would love to see and Ugly Betty star, as actress Ashley Jensen, who played the role of Christina McKinney, has been talking about her time on the show, and Ashley says she would love an Ugly Betty movie.
Jensen shared, "I think the last time I was here I was talking about it. I would love to do an 'Ugly Betty' movie, I think we all would. Just last year we had a reunion and we all just got so excited about seeing each other again. It was one these programmes that touched a lot of people and think that a lot of people feel a great deal of warmth to it. So I think it could be very excited to do it."
While we loved the Ugly Betty series, we have to admit that we would not want them to return to make an Ugly Betty movie. All too often we have got excited about one of our favourite shows making a movie, only to end up hugely disappointed and losing a little bit of that love we have for the series.
