AnnaSophia Robb was photographed at the VFiles Made Fashion show which took place at the Pavilion at Lincoln Centre during the New York Fashion Week (Just Jared - February 12).
She looked healthy, relaxed and attractive in the picture and her appearance has initiated conversation about the smart decision she made in taking a 'break' from acting to go to New York City University.
Since 2013 her work schedule has been exceptionally busy as she was the star of the CW television series "The Carrie Diaries" in addition to filming five movies from 2013 to 2014. This schedule if continued could have resulted in acting burnout and her potentially encountering some of the pitfalls of other young actors.
Often young actors such as AnnaSophia Robb who are imaking the transition from teenage age roles to adult roles can become overwhelmed by pressure and scrutiny.
By her going to school she won't be subjected to the intense scrutiny one might face as a lead actress despite the fact that she will be seen on the big screen in two career transforming 'dramatic' movies: "Jack of the Red Hearts" and the thriller "A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island".
Her being in college at New York City University forces her to 'slow down' and mature outside the media spotlight gives fans the opportunity to miss her and probably be more appreciative of her talents when they see her on the big screen.
She will likely still work during the summers but being away from Hollywood is giving her the opportunity to gain life experiences that she can bring to the screen when she returns to being a full-time actress and avoid 'burning herself' out by auditioning and acting for every potential role available as a young actor pursuing opportunities to show that she can play more adult roles.
AnnaSophia Robb is a talented, gritty actress on the screen, a savvy career planner off the screen who is showing that taking a 'break' away from acting can be in some situations very beneficial to one's image and growth as an actor.
